MES Décors Shipping Policy
MES Décors will ship products to most addresses in Canada, with the exception of P.O. Boxes.
Processing and Delivery Time
We ask that our customers allow us Up to 3 business days to process their order(s). Processing time does not include shipping time. Shipping time will depend on the customer’s location. Once an order is processed, the customer will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Orders are processed in the order they are received, expedited services are not available at this time. Please note that the products you select might be located in different warehouses and be shipped from different suppliers, therefore the products might arrive at different times via different carriers. If your order contains small and bulky items and you have selected White Glove Delivery, we might ship the smaller items separately via the fastest available carriers while we organize White Glove Service for the larger bulky items.
Standard Delivery - An average of 5-10 business days from the time of pickup depending on your location and the warehouse the products are shipping from. This service includes door delivery for smaller items and for bulky items the carrier will unload them in front of your property. Please note that our carriers are not able to enter your property with this type of delivery.
White Glove Service, your bulky products will arrive at a distribution warehouse closest to you and will get picked up by a 2- man delivery team who will then schedule a delivery appointment with you and carefully bring the items inside, perform light assembly such as attachment of legs and remove packaging. If you are considering a return, please request to keep all packaging as returns are not allowed without the original packaging.
- Standard shipping is FREE on all orders within Canada.
- For White Glove Delivery, a flat fee of $299 will be added to your order..
Duties and Taxes for International Shipments
We are happy to announce that we now offer international shipping! Please be aware that shipping times to your country may vary slightly due to circumstances beyond our control. Please also be aware of any local laws that may affect minimum and maximum order values, and/or any value-added
tax amounts not accounted for during checkout. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Products are shipped from our supplier's warehouses located in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, Canada. Foreign orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. You must check with your local authorities to find out what charges are applicable. MES Décors does not charge or collect duties/taxes for goods shipped to international destinations (outside of Canada). These taxes are paid by the customer upon arrival of the items to their destination country. Shipping is currently unavailable for the following countries:
● Democratic Republic of the Congo
● Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea)
Process of Delivery
For LTL shipments, the carrier will call you to schedule a time for the delivery, either in the morning or in the afternoon, but not at an exact time. MES Décors is not responsible for the delivery times of products. Once products have been dispatched, it is the customer's responsibility to liaise with MES Décors’ nominated carrier company in relation to the date of delivery and to make themselves
available to take delivery during the time slot appropriated. If, for any reason, our shipping partner cannot reach you at the agreed time of delivery, you will need to re-arrange the delivery. We are not responsible for any additional delivery costs incurred. Upon delivery, you will be asked to sign a delivery form, in which you confirm that the product was delivered in the correct condition (without obvious defects or damage).
It is your responsibility to inspect all items at the time of delivery, and any claims should be made
within 24 hours.
Our policy is to keep you informed. When your order is dispatched, we will contact you by email with the relevant tracking information so you can keep a close eye on your delivery. For LTL shipments for larger items such as beds and sofas, you will also receive a call from one of our professional furniture carriers to confirm a suitable time for delivery.
If your shipping address is a ‘beyond point’, then a shipping surcharge may apply. Beyond point surcharge is calculated by the shipping companies. Beyond points are usually defined by difficult access points, narrow roads, gated communities, islands, rural areas or mountains. There is no way for us to ascertain a ‘beyond point’ until we get shipping quotes from our shipper. We will contact you if your shipping address comes up as a ‘beyond point’.
MES Décors nor the transporter can be held responsible if the delivery cannot take place as a result of the incorrect address or other delivery information provided by the customer. MES Décors is not responsible for delays due to strikes, legal lockouts, or other discomforts caused by its suppliers. In the case of these inconveniences and other events of force majeure, the delivery period shall be extended in accordance with the duration of the disturbance. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
We recommend that you check the dimensions of access points to your home before ordering large items of furniture. You are responsible for determining that merchandise will fit through doorways, staircases, corridors and lifts. Dimensions for our products are listed in the product description.
At MES décors believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchase from our store. We have selected products for our store that we know you will love, however, understand, sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be, or damaged during shipping.
For any undamaged product, simply return it with its accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 10 days of the date you receive the product, and we’ll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method.
